What an intense last week at UPMConecta! We held two engaging debates on the ethics of artificial intelligence at ETSI Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas – ETSIAAB and ETS de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and we showcased some of GTIC’s latest research outputs:
• Our paper measuring Starlink’s Direct-to-Cell performance using WePlan Analytics crowdsourced data, accepted and soon to be published in IEEE Communications Magazine.
• An interpretable, market-based data pricing tool, presented at the latest Data Economy Workshop @VLDB, and a tool to automatically structure metadata out of data product webpages.
