2nd Gaia-X Hub Spain Summit

Last April 22, I had the opportunity to participate in the II Data Economy Summit organized by Gaia-X Hub Spain, a key forum for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and advances around the strategic use of data in Europe.

I would like to sincerely thank the organizers, and especially Francisca Rubio, for the kind invitation to take part in this event, which will bring together experts from academia, industry, and the public sector.

During the summit, I contributed as a speaker and present a poster focused on several research lines related to data monetization. In particular, I discussed how market data can support this objective, along with ongoing research initiatives in this area at the ETS de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The session gathered other colleagues, Clara Pezuela and Óscar Rived, who are collaborating in an UNE Workgroup to develop a guide into the valuation and monetisation of data assets.

Events like this are essential to move forward toward a more open, interoperable, and value-driven data ecosystem, aligned with the principles promoted by Gaia-X.

I also see this as a great opportunity to exchange ideas, foster new collaborations, and gain insights into current trends in the data economy.

Very nice having met you in Toledo!
